From a young age I struggled with loneliness and depression. But it was during those times in the valley when I sought Him. And it was there He found me and Loved me. This life is a journey and this blog is about my journey. It's about finding Him in everything. It's about learning to hope, love, and forgive. It's about my daily ups and downs, my sweet kitties who bring me so much joy, and my amazing husband who I am honored to share my life with. It's about learning to cook and hoping to one day be a back up dancer for the Black Eyed Peas. It's about my passion for creating and crafting. It's about my struggles and prayers and funny stories. It's about ...redemption.

I'm running a marathon!!!

Hahahahaha! J/K

Why do people run marathons?

Is it the new thing to do? Is it a way to get one motivated to work out and get in shape? Is it really enjoyable and does it symbolize something?

why?

I've never understood it. And it seems lately that so many people I know are doing it.

So I want to know what the deal is with marathons.

Please explain it to me if you know because to me it seems like
absolute self-inflicted torture!

you know kinda like on that one holiday where the muslims walk around all day in the streets slapping their backs with whips till they bleed in order to punish themselves or to purge out their evil, something like that, in hopes of redeeming themselves.

Yep, kinda like that.

People don't you know Jesus took care of that! You don't have to torture yourself. Accept his blood already. He paid the price for you. Stop running those marathons!

No really, why? why?...why

and TRIATHLONS!?!?!

Yarn Ornaments!

At first I thought it was a fun and creative idea to make ornaments out of balls of yarn.

I failed to consider the fact that kitties LOVE to play with yarn...

and climb trees...
