move to the livable forest, kingwood. survived hurricane Ike by hanging with friends and hours and hours of playing rummikub. heartbreak. finding treasures on heavy trash days. weekend projects. container gardening. back to Starbucks. new friends. family of 4: Mom, Dad, Nikita and SASSAFRASS. broken wedding ring. another replacement wooden wedding ring. privacy. learning to cook from all recipes. family BBQs. health insurance! entertaining and throwing parties. mourning. leaning on each other. learning how to move on. learning to love.
year one:
adjusting. living with friends. 4 people, 3 dogs, 2 bedrooms... and 1 bathroom! sharing a toothbrush. fall honeymoon in the mountains.
