From a young age I struggled with loneliness and depression. But it was during those times in the valley when I sought Him. And it was there He found me and Loved me. This life is a journey and this blog is about my journey. It's about finding Him in everything. It's about learning to hope, love, and forgive. It's about my daily ups and downs, my sweet kitties who bring me so much joy, and my amazing husband who I am honored to share my life with. It's about learning to cook and hoping to one day be a back up dancer for the Black Eyed Peas. It's about my passion for creating and crafting. It's about my struggles and prayers and funny stories. It's about ...redemption.

Halloween!

Halloween 2010!

Halloween might be my favorite holiday!
I just love getting dressed up and getting together with friends.

This year we had a hobo and Laura Croft (from Tomb Raider)...

A Chilean miner and the scariest vampire I've ever seen...

A very very old couple!

Um...some character from Star Wars, his genie, and their puppy in a half shell...

A "lady of the night" and a vietnam vet

Jack Skellington and his Sally (from A Nightmare before Christmas)

And last but not least, my sweet brown cow!

This year I was brown chicken and Scotty was brown cow (it's an inside joke).

But these cat poop treats really stole the spotlight at the party!

Hahaha, I found this recipe on AllRecipes except they used cookies.

We decided to take pretzels and dip them in nutella and then roll them in grape nuts!

They were a huge hit and they actually tasted pretty good.
